First we start by protecting
your carpet and furniture with drop cloths and wearing surgical
booties over our shoes, these are just some of the many
ways we treat your home or business with the utmost respect.

The installers
will measure every piece of glass to use for precutting
the film per each window precisely. Minimizing waste helps
keep our prices extremely competitive. |
Xlnt Tint uses the “Film
Handler”, which is an extremely useful tool used to
precut the window film’s length and width. An interesting
point to mention is you will notice the material is off
the ground not collecting dust and debris.
|
|

|
WE DO NOT cut our material like most of our competitors.
The WRONG way is to simply pull the material out on your
flooring and cut off approximately the size you need. The
concern with that is you will pick up any debris on the
floor, not have a true straight cut and most importantly
THEY ARE CUTTING WITH A RAZOR BLADE ON YOUR FLOOR!!! |
Prior to installation of
the window film, we carefully “wet blade” every
square inch of your glass with a Triumph® High Carbon
Stainless Steel Blade. This procedure will remove any paint
over spray and or anything else regular window cleaning
would leave behind. Preparation is one of the most important
facets to achieving an Xlnt Job!
|
|

|
Once the “wet blade” procedure is complete,
we squeegee the window ensuring a perfectly clean window
ready for the application of the window film. |
With our pattern cut for
the window, we roll up the piece and carefully remove the
protective coating that shelters the adhesive. It is interesting
to note, with our method we do not have to touch the adhesive
while applying the film. If the adhesive was touched, it
would inevitably leave fingerprints behind permanently.
|
|

|
We carefully roll the film on the prepared window which
is carefully misted with our mounting solution. |
With overlapping passes
we squeegee out over 90% of the mounting solution. It is
critical that we leave approximately 10% of the solution
behind which activates the adhesive. The remainder of this
solution will escape through the microscopic pores in the
window film.
|
|

|
Once the film has been installed, you will note that it
is approximately 1” larger than the glass. This allows
us to tailor trim the film right to the edge of the window. |
One of the final steps is to go over
all of the edges with a plastic 5 way tool wrapped with
a soft towel absorbing any residual moisture that may have
accumulated on the edges.

Every window is wiped down and left spotless. |
