Xlnt Tint performed all the installations for Commonwealth Laminating and ARA's blast test performed in Socorro, NM. Xlnt Tint traveled to Norfolk, VA to install several films and attachment types to numerous glass test panels. The panels were then shipped to Socorro, NM to be part of an ARA blast test to prove the films strength and to achieve a GSA blast test rating. Xlnt Tint traveled to Socorro, NM to help install and provide consultation of the test panels. Using 400 lbs of Anfo at an exact distance set forth by GSA the blasts were performed with all panels installed in bunkers specifically designed for blast testing. All panels passed the rigorous test and Xlnt Tint was their to witness the test first hand. Thanks to ARA and Commonwealth for the opportunity and allowing us to see first hand what window film can really do.
